A very simple tune, but something about it makes me feel extremely nostalgic for things past.

Wallou! by the Guelewar Band of Banjul (1980)

These guys were renegades in the West African music scene of the late ’70s.  Latin grooves, Afro-delic vocals, synth solos!  Fusion in the best sense of the word.  Why don’t bands like this reunite?
